Having been abandoned by his mother at a young age, Westen spent several years of his childhood enduring his father’s scorn and misplaced grief. However, this too came to an end, when his father’s abuse and mistreatment culminated when a young Westen was forcefully kicked out onto the street. Traumatized and destitute, Westen grew callous as he was forced to navigate and survive in Vazalia’s merciless landscapes by using the only thing he had left – his Forge abilities.

With many years spent wandering Vazalia, Westen was inevitably recruited to partake in Vazalia’s sport league. Where upon debut, he became an overnight success and soon became a career long champion by ironically using his Forge abilities to make an “easy living” in an otherwise high-risk entertainment field. So it came as a surprise when he was mysteriously reported as a Forge.
