About:

Nobles are humans from a mysterious realm, that were sentenced to an accursed fate by those they ruled over. To ensure the life of their heirs, many of the rulers banished their children beyond the reach of the forbidden curse. Confined deep within Vazalia, the young Heirs slumbered quietly and remained undisturbed for many years – until they were awakened and freed.

The title “Nobles” is a diminutive of the full title “Noble Heir of Crystal Birth”.

Abilities:

Despite, each Noble’s abilities varying from person to person; as Heirs, Nobles commonly have an ability that is a vestige of their family line.

Debutantes:

Although severed from their realm of origin, every Noble retains memory of a revered tradition where young Heirs would take their place among matured Noble rulers. The ceremony was called the Honoring. The debuting young Heirs were called Debutantes. Over the centuries, their ability to practice the Honoring fell into jeopardy.

Essential to the Honoring was procuring beings that had powers rivaling their own to serve as prey in the event. However, before the curse was cast, prey with similar powers had grown very scarce, leaving many young heirs unable to properly perform the ceremony, if at all.

Now awakened in Vazalia, and aware of the existence of Forges, the young heirs rekindle the tradition to duly assume their place as rulers of this new realm.
