About

V is for… is an independent audio series and Studio Imbe’s debut production. V seeks to create a unique and immersive listener experience that weaves cinematic music, sound design, and other sound effects with a solo narration performance.

Genres

V is for… encompasses several genres such as: new adult, high-fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, and action.

Cast

V is for… will be performed in a solo narration style, similar to what is commonly found in audiobooks. V will feature the solo performance of Asia Ansley.

Setting

V is for… takes place in a recently conquered realm called Vazalia. Vazalia was once a single body of land that resembled modern day earth with cities, mountains, rural areas, etc. However, when the Nobles awoke, Vazalia was splintered into 3 main continents: the Crown, the Medians, and the Havens.

For a time known as the War of the Awakened, the Vazalian militaries fought the Nobles; however, Vazalia was ultimately defeated and the Nobles divided Vazalia among themselves forming empires and transforming the land to favor their more developed home realm.  As a result, Vazalia was shaped into a technologically advanced yet variegated realm that reassembled an alternate past, a familiar present, and a mythical future.

Story

V is for… follows Yona Chaska, a recently discovered Forge, as she fight for survival and seeks vengeance during a sacred Noble ceremony called “The Honoring”.

Characters

V’s characters focus on the Nobles, beings who wield mythical powers and rule Vazalia; and Forges, humans with artificially engineered powers that rival the Nobles.

Maturity Rating

V is for… features material that may be unsuitable for younger audiences.

Please be aware that V contains:

For these reasons, Studio Imbe cautions parents and suggest the listening age of 14 years and older.
